Hi Friends!  I am sitting here typing this on what I think may be the most humid day I have ever experienced.  The weather channel app says it’s only 70% humidity but I suspect they’re a bunch of lying liars who lie because it feels like walking around in a goddamn bowl of soup out there.  Am I really talking about the weather though? What a boring ass bitch.  Let’s talk about what’s really important: Swamp Queen Palette Tutorial!  The Tarte Swamp Queen Palette is a very pretty neutral one and the formula is just freakin’ lovely.  That being said, it’s not the most out there or creative as far as shades go, so it’s best for creating really classic or soft looks.

Sometimes it’s good to do a tutorial on a very simple look though.  It’s easier to achieve for those who are still working on their makeup game, and it’s something you’re more likely to wear.  Maybe that’s why you guys went straight HAM when I posted the photos of this look on IG….or maybe Instagram just makes no sense sometimes.  But either way, that’s the tutorial we’ve got today. As usual the video tutorial is above and the still shots and product lists are below along with the other top looks from the last two weeks. Y’all know the drill.

This next look was the first one I did with the new Kat Von D Serpentina Palette.  I was super pumped about that palette when I saw swatches, so I dove right in and swatched it on snapchat right away and then did a look with it as well.  I was skeptical of the matte shades at first but they work much better over a base than just being swatched on my arm.  I do wish the palette included a few transition shades though. How did this turn into a mini review?

And last but not least, this crazy look I did the other day when I came home early from the beach.  Maybe I’m spoiled but I like a nice quiet beach where I can relax and have a cocktail.  Not a beach where there is a bowling alley 40 feet away and there are people with entire campgrounds set up complete with tents and people are blasting two different drake songs at the same time from opposite sides.  So we got to the beach, left after an hour and my ABH Moonchild Kit was waiting for me so I did this fun green look!  Boom, a negative becomes a positive.

The green lips are just the Lucky Clover Highlight from the Moonchild Kit Patted over black liquid lipstick, how cool is that? It’s also on my cheeks, and since I’m real pale its very subtle but these candy colored highlights are seriously getting me pumped to make some fun stuff.

It’s probably not my most wearable look, but if every look was wearable omg I would be the most boring person on social media.  But thats what the swamp queen palette tutorial is for right?  See life is about balance.
