Hello my loves! What an exciting week it has been.  As I mentioned in my last post I just got back from a trip with my beautiful Momma and my beautiful sister.  It was pretty great to just hang out and relax with them for a few days.  A bunch of silly bitches they are, let me tell you.

Now I’ve been back for a few days, getting back to the old grind.  Not complaining at all though because I was super surprised and flattered that on Wednesday House Of Lashes shared my work on their instagram.  It’s always so so nice when that happens and it really made my day.  I have come to adore putting looks up on instagram more than any other part of blogging so when a brand I respect likes what I do I get warm and fizzy inside, ya know?

That being said, naturally I couldn’t just leave my Instagram dead and abandoned while I was gone so I did a bunch of looks before I left and I even filmed a Beauty Killer Palette Tutorial that I edited on the plane home.  The lady next to me was looking at my screen like I was a little crazy, but she also took an Ambien and then drank a glass of wine sooooo maybe that’s just how she looked at that moment.  How do people do that on planes?  I wouldn’t want to be so out of it in public.

Anyway, the Beauty Killer Palette Tutorial is linked above and here are some still shots along with product details.

MUFE Ultra HD Foundation Sticks | ABH Contour Kit in Light | Jeffree Star Skin Frosts in Peach Goddess & Ice Cold | ABH DipBrow Dark Brown | Kat Von D Tattoo Liner Trooper | Becca Mineral Blush Wild Honey | Jeffree Star Beauty Killer Palette | Urban Decay Electric Eyeliner | Huda Beauty Farah Lash | ABH Liquid Lipstick in Midnight

As much as I’m digging the fun colors in the Beauty Killer Palette, I think the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette might be the actual love of my life.  It doesn’t look that versatile, but it is actually super duper versatile and the mattes are like butter.  I have never had matte shades build so easily and evenly before.  ABH kills it every damn time.  Gosh I love those Romanian goddesses.

Also the new Darkside gel liner is the best waterline eyeliner I think I’ve ever used.  It stays so well I actually have a hard time removing it.  Ok enough fangirling over ABH. I’ll shut up.

It seems that you guys really dig when I do lip art with precise lines.  I did a more geometric take on my favorite lip art look and I think it might be in the running for the most likes of any of my photos.  I like doing these too, so I’m glad you guys dig it.

That’s all for this week, I hope you enjoyed the beauty killer palette tutorial!  It was fun to do something more colorful but I’m thinking the next tutorial should be a more wearable look. What do you guys think?
